Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22, and goes until the evening Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday, April 6. During the season of Lent the Church calls all Catholics to observe the teachings of fasting and abstinence.

St. John Vianney Church will celebrate the acquisition of its new digital organ, the Infinity Series 367, with a recital featuring Rick Seaton.

The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023 in observance of Presidents' Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, February 21 at 10:00 AM. Daily Mass will be celebrated at the normal time of 9:00 AM.

Join us every Friday during Lent for Stations of the Cross at 9:35 AM (After the 9:00 AM Mass), and 6:00 PM. Meatless Supper & Movie, hosted by SJV Knights of Columbus, will follow the 6:00 PM Stations of the Cross. Movie will begin March 3, 2023.

All are welcome for Mass on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Mass times and distribution of ashes are 6:00 AM, 9:00 AM, and 7:00 PM.

On January 8, 2023, Edwinna Herrera of St. John Vianney Catholic Church was presented with the Archbishop’s St. Francis of Assisi Award for outstanding service in our parish. We are all very grateful to Edwinna for all she has done and continues to do for our parish community. Congratulations, Edwinna!
