St. John Vianney Church will celebrate the acquisition of its new digital organ, the Infinity Series 367, with a recital featuring Rick Seaton.
The three-manual organ, with 67 stops and 22 external audio channels, was built by Rodgers Instruments, and replaces the Allen organ that has served SJV for the last several years.
Rick will play a variety of selections during the recital, highlighting the extensive sounds and capabilities of the new organ.

About Rick Seaton
Rick Seaton is Director of Music and Organist at Bethany Lutheran Church in Denver, where he oversees a large and varied music program. A Denver native, Rick studied with renowned organist Marilyn Keiser at Indiana University, as has been active in the church music scene for over 30 years. As a composer and arranger, he has written numerous pieces for organ, piano, choir, brass, as well as liturgy settings; his collection of postludes titled “Go Out with Joy” is published by Augsburg Fortress. Rick performs regularly as a guest soloist with several leading ensembles including the Denver Brass, Canto Deo, and the Cherry Creek Chorale.
Rick and his wife, Barbara, have been the Colorado/ New Mexico representatives for Rodgers and Johannus organs since 2018. They live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, with their two children.
