Does your child love to sing?

Children in 2nd through 8th grade are invited to join the SJV children's choir! Led by Joseph Cordova, kids will have fun while developing a love for music - in a small, safe, and encouraging environment.

There is no cost to participate in the choir. No prior musical experience is required, only an eagerness to learn, and age-appropriate reading ability.
Mass Times
Beginning September 2024 and running through April 2025, the SJV Children's Choir will sing on the third Sunday of each month at the 10:00 AM Mass, with the exception of December and April.
- Dress code is white top, and black pants/dress. Dress must be below the knee.
- Children must bring a 1/4 in. black binder with a pencil.
Rehearsal Schedule
Wednesdays, 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM.
Come enjoy some friends, make music, and have fun!
- Rehearsals will follow SJV's religious education schedule. No rehearsals on holy days if Mass is scheduled.
- Rehearsals will be canceled if there is inclement weather. Watch Flocknote.
- NOTE: Parents must come inside the church to pickup their children.
Important Information
- Children will be singing at the 10 AM Mass on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
- Children will sing at the 4 PM Christmas Eve Mass .
- Children will sing at the 10 AM Mass for Easter on April 20, 2025.
- Children will sing on March 12, 2025 for Family Stations of the Cross Night.
- Additional rehearsals may be added for Christmas, Easter Masses, and Family Stations of the Cross. A Flocknote will be sent out with updates.
